Jesus said, “Whoever welcomes you welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me.” (Matthew 10:40). Here at Faith we hope you will find a place where all people encounter the living God and the reconciling Gospel of Jesus Christ. Faith Lutheran welcomes all people, inclusive of their sexual orientation, gender identity, cultural and ethnic background, physical and mental abilities, socio-economic and family status, gender, age, creed, and doubts.
We are one of over 1,109 Communities which have gone through a process of prayer, conversation and education resulting in the declaration that we welcome people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions .

Faith is a Lutheran Church. A Lutheran church is a Christian church that follows the teachings of Martin Luther, a German monk and priest, who initiated the Protestant Reformation in the 16th century. Lutherans believe in the authority of scripture, the importance of faith and grace, and the priesthood of all believers.
Faith is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). ELCA congregations are organized into 65 synods. Faith is part of the Northwest Washington Synod. Our Bishop is Bishop Shelley Bryan Wee. The Presiding Bishop of the ELCA is Bishop Elizabeth Eaton.
Through many parish activities and vocations, we strive to participate in God's reconciling work which prioritizes disenfranchised, vulnerable and displaced people in our communities and the world.
